the problem is not plugin specific, I tried different ones.
My goal: restrict content on subsites like web1.domain.com, web2.domain.com etc. And give particular users “Subscriber” access to particular subsites on multisite – but not to all of them. This worked for me in the past. However not this year. WordPress keeps copying user from one subsite to another as soon as they log-in to their „correct“ destination – and it gives them also “Participant” Worpress role in the “wrong–destinations” (subsites on Multisite, which they should not have access to.)
Example: If I create User1 (As Subscriber) on web1.domain.com (and only here) than as soon as he logs in to this web1.domain.com, he is allowed to access other webs on Multisite, like web3.domain.com and/because this same User1 is copied to this web3.domain.com (at the moment of his logging-in to the “appropriate destination”) with Subscriber AND Participant role, no matter what Content restriction plugin I use (Like WordPress Content Restriction Pro, All In One Intranet Premium etc and unfortunately their Support did not help).
